z1000 a1 fork length and seat mountings help req

Can anyone tell me the length top of the fork to the very bottom of a z1000a1 pls, also the seat mountings are they differant z1000 to a1? i have picked up a basket case a1 and it has no seat but was offered a z9 2:4 one last night will it fit?? thanks for any help

my z1000A2 is 32 and a quater inch long,
the z1000 seat has a D shape catch on it.
believe the 900 have a spike catch on them and an extra rubber grommet above the airbox.

My seat on a Thou` A1 is actually from a Z1, Z1A, Z1B.

It has the holes for both type of latch.

I`d just check you`ve got both latch type mountings.
The brackets are in the same place !

Z900A4 gas the D shaped ring. Its the earlier ones that were plunger type......
