Z1000A2 CLOCKS ?

CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE , I HAVE TWO SETS OF CLOCKS BOTH READ 140 MPH , AND ON THE REV COUNTER SIDE ONE IS JUST UNDER 8000 BEFORE THE RED LINE AND THE OTHER IS 9000 ON THE RED LINE , ONE SET WAS ON MY BIKE, THE OTHER SET WAS GIVEN TO ME A LONG TIME AGO , NOT SURE IF THESE ARE THE RIGHT CLOCKS AS MOST EARLY ZEDS ARE 160 MPH, MY BIKE SHOULD BE A Z1000A2 MODEL IMPORTED FROM THE STATES .

140mph clocks are from a Z650. You`re right in that thous` have 160mph speedo`s. An A2 revs to 8500 at the redline.

Sounds like a bit of a mish mash of bits there

yes sounds right , thanks for your response, will change the clocks at some point for the correct ones , (parts list is getting bigger by the hour)
