Back Wheel help!

#1 PostAuthor: HowieD » Wed Oct 01, 2008 6:18 am

Good day,
my refurbishment project on the Harris has come to an abrupt halt!

I was trying to fit a Suzuki TL1000 back wheel - but its too wide to slot straight in - bugger. its 6" wide and nothing will line up without major surgery or a new swinging arm.

Anyone know what bike might have a Three Spoke Rear wheel about 5 inch wide?

regards
Howie

SV650 for the straight spokes, earlier GSXR750 for the older style, 600 Bandit has too small bearings if I remember right. All 17 x 4 1/2"

Howie,I've got a Suzuki GSXR 1100K rear wheel,it's 4.5" x 17" diameter.
It's fitted with a 170/60 tyre.
Do you want to borrow it and see how you get on ??
