G'day all,
Question regarding the seat strap on the A4.
Not being able to find a decent seat here in Oz, I'm modifying a KZ seat with a Doremi strap. The question is, should there be some form of anti-scuff pad or buffer between the chromed clip and the seat vinyl?
Seems as though the metal would give the seat a hiding over time.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Glenn
Begging your pardon sir, but you did say that you'd like .................a green one?

Glenn on the z1r which i would think same as other zed models, there is no buffer for buckle to seat. Only a bit of tin plate on the strap as its threaded through the buckle. The only damage that ive noticed is the "headless" screw on the strap will/may pierce the seat vynyl but thats not visible as noted when i stripped the seat down after 20 odd years. Hope this is of help mate :)
