Hi Murph, yep that was one of those rides where you just have to grind the miles out. Rain stopped about 30 miles from Edinburgh and I've just watched a lovely blood red sunset from the window here, typical. Checked google earth and the rain we had is out over the north sea now and it's looking good up at Aultguish, probably better than the freezing wind and rain we had last night and today. I'm just off now to open the first (of many) bottles of St Andrew's ale. Catch ya later.

Well I did make up there with the others on Friday and had a fairly good run up the A9.Then a few miles out of Inverness the real roads started
Other than the rain it was a great weekend and the people at Aultguish could not have been more helpful.Only down side was the natural water supply
you'll have to take a trip up yourself to see what am on about
