Headlamp brackets - Lawson Replica

#1 PostAuthor: martinz1000r » Sat Sep 13, 2008 7:18 pm

Having a nightmare trying to work out which way up the standard headlamp brackets go on my Lawson

Which ever way up I fit them I cant seem to align headlamp and fairing :??

Looking at parts diagram on Kawasaki website does not help. Anyone out there shed any light ideally with some photos of how it all goes together please?

The headlamp brackets go towards the bottom - i.e. they are not in the centre of the tubes, the longer space goes at the top if you get my drift.

Cheers Chris - I must have something else wrong as well then! I've put them on that way round, headlight sits perfectly on all brackets but fairing does not line up at all :boom

Back to the drawing board :x

Martin, If I remember there are some cups and packing washers that sit top and bottom of the holders. Have you got them ?

DOH! You know it helps to put the fairing brackets on in the right place

Put them in front of the top yoke and everything lines up perfectly. Guess who feels a pratt!
