Brighton Speed trials

Watched Andy Z1R tear down the strip today at Brighton,nice run at about 125mph,well done Andy nice to see a classy bike in action but oh boy those Busa,s awsome.

Cheers Steve, it was a cracking day, sunny 70 + degrees all day, loads of cool cars and bikes, plus a Hayabusa did an 8.8 sec run in the top six run off! Amazing! Mine was wheel spinning in 1st, 2nd and 3rd hence my slower speed and times than normal, mainly down to the longer swingarm, more power and bugger all grip! Best i think was a 10.7 @ 124mph, but it was a great day and the Zed got loads of attention, everyone seemed to love it. There were some guys there who said 'we only come for the cars and take pics of those, but we have to take a pic of your bike!' Nice to be appreciated...

Cheers Pigford, yeah shame it clashed with the Pod as it sounded like a great weekend, i`d loved to have been there as well, but Brighton Speed Trials is kind of special and i`m lucky to race there. And to see 500bhp Hayabusa`s doing 8 sec quarters on the sea front is amazing!
