Shorty guard - Just fitted us spec rear guard

Does the tailpiece of the Z1 have more clearance to the oval tail light compared to the Z900 tailpiece/light ? Have fitted a US spec Z1 rear guard complete with light bracket and light but the rear lense is touching the tailpiece do I need the Z900 rear light bracket, a Z1 tail piece or just use a spacer on the rear guard ?

The lens is normally quite close to the tail. If you'd got the wrong lamp bracket on it'd be miles out. Assuming it's like you say, just touching, I'd do a bit of filing or spacing as necessary.

Thanks Jerry will space out the guard till I can find aZ900A4 light bracket.

i have a Z1B us model with short us guard but also have a long z900 a4 rear guard will this fit with my us lamp and number plate bracket ?????

Steve, I'm pretty sure the rear light brackets for the short and long guards are different, as they have a different curvature for the respective guards.
