Engine sprocket removal M1 / K1 LTD

#1 PostAuthor: Dark Skies » Sat Aug 16, 2008 5:01 pm

I have the special tool for grabbing the J1 engine sprocket holes (same as M1 and K1) - trouble is the M1 has some kind of grappling hook arrangement to stop the sprocket bolt coming off. Anyone know how you're supposed to remove this to get to the sprocket?

EDIT - never mind - I figured out a way - get an old length of chain and simply let it run around the sprocket one turn until it locks itself up!
