Patience !!

#1 PostAuthor: electromecracing » Sun Aug 10, 2008 8:16 pm

For a long time i have been searching for a special bike (special to me anyway) , I have seen a few advertised but everytime i had phoned the number - the bike was gone. I even had a guy take my deposit only to have second thoughts about selling the bike and back out - Did get my money and petrol back though - hardly consolation.

Recently i recieved a message from Ollie with a bike for sale, I saw 2 pics of the bike and knew i had to get it!. With a deal done ...1100 mile round trip and my German better than it was a week ago .. I have my bike!!!

Big thanks to Ollie for the help ... Looks as if there one more H in the country!

Hi the SW Rally starts Friday 5th September afternoon, with a ride out on the Saturday, live band in the evening, prize giving at some point when everyone is sober enough to take it in. Most people will leave on the Sunday when their blood alcohol level reaches a sufficient level to make it possible to balance their Zeds - prolly late evening  Even if you can't get yer bike registered in time you'll still be very welcome and it'll give you a chance to put faces to forum handles :D

Fantastic bike the "H" always remember reading an artical in "Motorcycle Mechanics" as it was then in 1980 on my holidays in Weymouth (as a spotty 19 year old) and how they stated that you could run the motor without an airfilter just as well as with it because it's "brain" would register the difference in airflow. Unbelievable statements to read in a world full of carbs, what science!
And an extra BHP over the MK11 because of it! wow!
Still what a bike and a very rare sight.
Well done!!!

Nice Bike.
The rush of getting a new Bike is as close as you get to that feeling of being a small boy on christmas eve.
