North Weald Classic bike sprint this Sunday.

#1 PostAuthor: AndyZ1R » Tue Jul 22, 2008 9:27 pm

Hello all,

This Sunday i should be racing (if i get the air shifter working) at the North Weald classic bike sprint, it`s usually a very good show with lots of old Brit and Jap stuff and some very weird home made things in between (1500cc 2 -stroke drag bike anyone?). Rick Brett and a lot of the triples guys are normally there, along with a handful of Zeds, plus this year they are including classic cars if that floats your boat. It`s a tenner to get in, plus there is a pretty good autojumble and various club displays, hope to see a few of you there.
Oh and i really will go this time, as i`ve already paid to race. :D

This Sunday; 27th July racing starts about ten a.m.

About 200 bikes in car park last year at it's peak, beer tent, proper toilets, hot and mostly edible food, autojumble (tiny) and of course demo track action from oldies but goodies.

This is not strictly a VMCC event.

£10 on the gate i believe and no charge for parking last year.

Oh and i nearly forgot; shed loads of noisy shit trying to break something. In Andy Z1R's case the sound barrier.

"have you shot your baffles competitor 235?"

Here's one of his efforts from last year. Sorry if on dial up.
