I think this might be a good time to meet some of you typists!
A good excuse to get off the Island and put a few miles on the bike
Is it a real ale pub? Will try to dig out some old Zedhead friends for the run.The first S.W. should be well supported.

Nice one you'll be very welcome! It'll be great to meet you at last :) Yes it is a real ale pub al;so serving Zomerzet Cider, if you are constipated :|

Soz Mikey - it was a real spur of the moment thang - I wsa to do something completely different, but thought sod it and slung me leg over the FJ and let rip. I gave Piglet a kwik call as I was putting me leathers on. I'll defo give you a shout next time :| Besides you'd never have kept of with the flying Piglet for the first half of the ride, even I struggled, but I knew I had to cos he has no mirrors, no indicators, doesn't do hand signals and never looks back. You'd have been OK second half as we got stuck behind a mobile sty

I have now designed and printed the tickets for this event so if folk would like to send me their fivers, I'll post out the tickets. Can you please make cheques payable to Z1 Owners Club and I'll send 'em to Jerry - I'll only drink the money otherwise

Please PM me for my address

Was going to post it here, but if I do Wayne'll come round and nick all me bikes and tools

Please book your tickets for the SW Rally Numero Uno, I really want to make the effort to get some live music, but before I can commit to booking a band I need to get some real idea of numbers. I'll work my arse off to make this a great rally, but you guys need to support me.

BED AND BREAKFAST

We (CB) have now found a nice B&B in the next village. Sandi at The Canal says it's very nice. It's £35 a night including FBB. They have vacancies for the Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th. The proprietor says it is the nearest B&B to the event, but does not advice walking back as one is likely to be killed on the road. Can't see that bothering us with loadsa cider in us - we'll feel invincible    I guess the more sensible thing to do, is what us softies did at Hobbo's bash - share a taxi

The place is called Lower Farm and the telephone number is 01823 443549

Sandi says there's an eight man tent at the venue which we can use. She seems to think that it will hold more than eight .... hmmm - think I'll pass on that one   But if you're set on camping anyway, it would save the carrying of the tent and the erection of said item.

Hoping to come along to this rally – will bring the old Zed this time – but won't able to confirm until nearer the time, what with work, business and family stuff - might have convinced a local lad with a nice collection of old & new stuff to bring his old Z1000 along also by then. If we can’t make it for the whole weekend, I will try to support it with another day trip on the Rex.

Hi Simon

I knew there had to be more Zeds in Bristol  Do you know Mikey?

Look forward to meeting you and your mate in September.

If you want to meet a few Zedists before September, a number of us have taken to going to the White Post bike nights at Stratton on the Fosse on alternate Tuesday nights. We had a creditable showing of Zeds at the last one and may have more on Tuesday. :D

Hi Simon, as Ralph hasn't got round to answering you, I'll interfere! The next one is 29 July. The bikes start to arrive at The White Post at about 7pm. The full address is Stratton on the Fosse, BA3 4QA. BBQ burgers and sausages available, proceeds go to charity (air ambulance I think). Let us know if you want to meet up somewhere and we can go there together.
