z1000a2 voltage regulator query?

#1 PostAuthor: 02GF74 » Wed Jun 25, 2008 3:41 pm

this sits under RH panel; is an aluminium case about 50 x 30 mm in size and there is a small screw in the case (not one of the bolt/screws that holds it to the frame)?

what is the purpose of the screw? (removes aluminium cover)? or some other purpose.

Hmmmmmm, mark it with paint, unscrew it (counting turns - just in case) and see what happens
Don't forget to report your findings...... :??

Don't touch that screw as it is an integral part of the regulator and has nothing to do with the casing if you turn it you'll f**ck it.

Is it that much of a turn on, that turning the screw that you would be overcome by such insatiable lust. I hope I didn't throw my old one out  On second thoughts I won't look, I may be wracked with guilt afterwards, not to mention in misshapen member
