1979 Z1 classic bosch fuel injection

hi,could anybody shine a little light on a problem my mate has.His classic is a bit of a bugger on start-up,coughs n splutters until warm....ive had it suggested to me that the heat sensor is at fault,not telling the engine its warm enough?This sounds about right as when its heated-up it runs fine.
I havnt had a good look at the bike,so am asking where the heat sensor is located...and are these still avilable...if so where?Thanks for your help.

If its anything like the other fuel injected kwaks the engine temp sensor will be tapped into the cylinder head between 1 and 4 inlet ports. These can suffer from corrosion on the connector and also on the threads of the temp sensor so clean it up and refit.
