took the seat off for the first time today and found the battery loose in the battery box. Also the mounting lug for LHS electrical plate was rusted through.
Made a temporary repair and tie wrapped the battery in.
My question is should there be a clamp on the RHS to hold the battery in place ?
I think there should be as there is no hole for the bottom lug of the side panel to fit into (I can't see any evidence of any welds broken off the frame in this area)
TIA
Mark
