Well, been tinkering & have set the timing accurately now, and clocked up over 2 miles up & down me street
There was a slight oil leak, from the inner ignition casing, right next to the clutch cover.
I took the outer timing cover off, then the inner ignition casing and as you look at it, there is a small lip where the crank cases mate
I dressed it carefully with a file and applied a touch of Goo to both sides of the gasket and this appears to have cured it
Just gotta get it MOT'd now..... so will book it for the Saturday after York
Gave it a quick wipe over and can't wait to get a few miles under me belt
And here's the happy couple.....
