Does anyone know if there are any meets planned in and around the south west this year ?
I am a virgin at Z1OC ralleys and wonderered if there was anything localish (apart from the Paignton bike nights) where I could loose me cherry ?
I have heard of previous Calstock runs.

I,ll keep my eye out for those.
I have noticed a few posts from other members in and around the area.
I asked Jerry many moons ago for a local contact and he gave me Rob Davis in Plymouth, is Rob still the area rep ?
Maybe we could get something going if I can contact him, I think I have a mobile number somewhere.
I hope I am not standing on anyones toes by suggesting a meet I am not sure what the correct proceedure is.
What do you think ?

I think the few of us in the South West, need to do something positive to promote the Z1OC. I cannot take on any major responsibility at present as I am still running a sailing association at present, but I have it in mind to off load it if I can find some mug to take it on for me. I did start it, but as it looks pretty likely that I'll have to sell my boat, due to my ineptitude at running a profitable business, I think that it is high time someone else took it on.
Within my limited time constraints I am very willing to help trying to get a few more members going in the South West. I can certainly design and print a short run of small posters, that could be put up at biker orientated venues in the SW eg bike shops, pubs etc. etc. If any one else in the South West is up for trying to promote us a bit let me know. I still maintain Piglet would be a perfik Area Rep; who could resist his ironing pinny

I have tried to contact the SW rep, Rob Davis name and number supplied by Jerry, but the line is dead.
So unless anyone knows Rob and how to contact him we need to start the ball rolling, what do you say Mr Pigford you seem to be the popular choice ?
Just out of interest how many are there of us who would be up for some type of dedicated South West Z meet ?

I'm not sure if I'm in South-West or Midlands? - but either way I'd try to to support any South-West events.
I'm sure there's been another thread about the South-West events/rep situation a couple of years ago - I nearly volunteered for it
- I didn't realise someone had taken it?
With respect to the incumbent Rob Davies - I think it needs someone with a higher profile - Piggy would seem a good choice.

Well lads, thanx a million for the vote of confidence
To be honest I would love to serve King (Jerry) and country, but I just cannot guarantee full commitment.....
so....
I had a brief chat with Ralphy this morning & would like to forward him for the vote.....
