I hate to disappoint you but I've never found an official code. You're best placed to use a sample and take it to a paint company - that's what I had to do.

I can see if I've still got details of the mix I used somewhere. I can also give you the details of where got my paint made up .

Olafur, Sorry for going off topic here i read on another forum that there were i think 3, 73 Z1's imported into Iceland do you know of any ?It was Jeff Saunders who told us about them!!

contact peter at PSGmotorcyclepaintwork.co.uk he painted my Z1R last year and got a really good match taken from period mudguard

he is a good guy and i am sure he would help you with the colour referencves he used
