fuel pump probs

hi guys just thought id ask if anyone has any idea why my fuel pump on my z1000h wont pump fuel it spins over ok and the fuel is in it it just dont pump anything
iv took it a part and can see nothing atall wrong with it

Not being funny Bob as I know your not daft but if the pump is similar to the type fitted to the turbo then are you sure its connected the right way round. If I remember correctly a turbo pump will spin but not pump if connected back to front.

yes pasc i checked that 1st it is fitted the right way with the check valve at the exit pipe going to the injector rail where this differs from the turbo is you can take it apart on the inlet side and it has like a rotor motor inside that squeezes the fuel into the chamber but it just wont pressurize up to pump il bring it with me and show you at the weekend

A fuel pump you can strip eh. Pity Kwak didn't fit those to the turbo eh. Just guessing here Bob but could it need some sort of priming ?
