hi folks. Can anyone tell me if the clear sight plastic on my double disc master cylider separates from the ally. If so , how? Actually,im having it painted so i might be able to get away with masking off. what do you erudite z owners think. anyone know where i can get fork oil circlips from. Cheers Tommy

Mick took mine apart and fitted a new seal kit. There are two screws at the bottom of the site glass once taken out the plastic is still a very tight fit and needs a bit of brute to shift.

Yes, Padders is right. If you look inside there should be a perforated metal plate held in by two cross headed M5 screws. Remove these and the plastic body should twist out of the master cylinder.

You will need a new 'O' ring when you re-assemble the unit.
