Z1R Fuel Tap

#1 PostAuthor: dave m » Thu Mar 06, 2008 7:24 pm

Hi,

The fuel tap on my Z1R does not turn off, this came to light when petrol was overflowing at the carbs, a common problem it seems as discussed on this forum.

I fixed the carbs problem but discovered the faulty fuel tap, Phil at ZPower says that a new tap or spare inner parts are no longer available.

Any advise or suggestions please.

regards

Dave

For less than ?20 you can get those QD fuel connectors. When you undo them, they automatically seal the pipes....
Maybe worth considering, as also handy when doing carb jobs :!:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

All of the above or that old chestnut fit a Pingel, you know it makes sense.
