I feel very silly asking this, but this part has been kicking around for a while and I haven't seen a purpose for it yet. It looks as though it might be to hang the brake light malfunction relay on, but I'm not sure. :oops:

Ralph,
One neg lead runs to the ear r/h of the engine. There's a little bolt (4mm?) thread, which is just forward of the r/h rear engine mounting lug :wink:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Its a helmet hook/holder should be 2 of them and they fit on top of the tail piece mounting holes either side.

Thanks Padders. Ah, now I see it. I realised my first guess was wrong when I cleaned up the coils to solder new wires on 'em and discovered the bracket for the brake dofer.

Mark, thanks mate!. Cleaned up teh workshop and realised that you hadn't taken the bits you wanted. Best you remember them when you pick up your wavey barrels :wink:
