Master Cylinder

#1 PostAuthor: Wayne1960 » Sat Oct 01, 2016 9:07 pm

Guys if like me you have had to buy a replacement master cylinder and ended up with the very nice looking one with the domed top but not satisfied it doesn't look the same as the original (anal I know)
I did the following
Take off lid and clean
Place lid top on a flat grinder and hone down flat
I've done it and the aluminium is thick enough to take it but stop as soon as it's flat
Rub down further with wet and dry
Spray with black calliper spray
Buy decal from eBay and stick it on
Perfect!
Just purchased a 1976 UK Z900 A4 for renovation. Wish me luck.
Bike now finished what a joy!
