Anyone fitted the Motad 4 into 2 system yet, if so would appreciate some comments before I purchase one

Don't buy the motad . get a Zeecross 4-2 system . looks and sounds brilliant . Check out z1enterprises site .

I have and thought it was pretty nice. Build quality isn't as robust in feel as it would be 30 years ago but then it must be about a 3rd of the weight of the original 4-2. Keeps the balanced look of the original.

Many, many moons ago I put a Motad Neta 4 into 2 on an FJ1100. I think it was better than the original and looked fine. I wouldn't, however, entertain putting one on my Zed as I don't feel they suit the character of the bike.

Obviously we're going back a few years '88-'89 ish, but the build quality was excellent then.
