Sticky clutch!
Just tried to take me A1 for mot, started motor pulled in clutch tried to engage 1st gear, Bang! No go, just leaps forward and stalls! Clutch hasn't been touched since running fine last year, plates stuck together for some reason? Brand new oil, and brand new OE complete clutch unit so shouldn't be any wear at all?

If plates were new, probably not fully soaked in oil prior to fitting

And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
If banging in to gear a few times or the mainstand /rear brake attempt doesn't work then undo the oil filler cap, hold in the clutch lever with a zip tie and pop each plate apart with a wide flat bladed screwdriver through the filler hole.
Use the kickstart to slowly rotate the clutch as you go.
Possibly half of the plain plates at the max may remain stuck to the frictions but their bond should easily be overcome on the next attempt at riding off.
