oil seal

I need to change a oil seal the one behind the front sprocket what is the best way to go about this . do I need to remove the casing, or just the front sprocket ,and do they just push in or do I need to remove the casing a push in from the back

It is easier to remove the cover but it is possible without.

remove the sprocket & the collar behind it then use one of these to pull out the old seal there is also a thin o ring behind the collar i would replace this while you have removed the collar
