Is the Z1 A the most discreet(Rare) Z of all ?
Never seems to be a lot mentioned about them.
Back in the 70's 1976--77 .I worked weekend's serving at a petrol station
in Stirling on an occasional Saturday night back shift this guy would turn up on a Z1A .With Drag pipes which stop'd before the engine ended.
The guy"Jack" was only about 5'8'' and had long hair.
What was more striking was his pilion "Gloria "Who was about 6'1''and not a bad looker ,She must have had good taste (Liked Z's)or hated Hilman Imps and Escorts, Capris and Avengers of the Hilman ilk..&Viva's etc...
These were the most common Brut /Old spice /Blue Stratos, enfused clients on a saturtday night.! Looking for Burds !& Cruzin!!
I Must adit that bike wen't like shit sounded good and also corrupted me .
No regrets though.
I believe the current owner has had it for about 20 years.and for the last
15 standing still because its cylnder head is cracked and he has family and cannot afford to rebuild it and will not sell it.
Cheers colin

RegardZ.
Paul's Z1B is brown. As were quite a few, but they were what Kawasaki refered to as Candy Red. Just some of them weren't vey red. At all. Jerry had a brown one at one point. And the one Fer sold to Hobbo was quite brown too as I recall...
