Lefthand switchgear

#1 PostAuthor: 1975-S1C » Sun Nov 15, 2015 6:43 pm

Hi,
I have a KZ900 with a knackered lefthand handlebar switchgear (the hi/lo button is snapped off). I notice that it doesn't seem to have a flash button like the UK ones do, question is, would a UK one work (either with or without the flash function working), or does it need to be a replacement KZ unit from somewhere if the wiring is different ?
Cheers
Paul

Hello again chaps. Thought I'd ask again on this.
Can I fit UK lefthand switchgear to a KZ900 ?
Or alternatively, is the plastic slide that the knob screws on to the same ? As that and the knob is all I'd need to repair it ?
Or does anyone have a KZ one they'd be happy to sell ?
Cheers in advance for any help / advice
Paul

Hi, if you mean the small plastic lever that the hi low balck switch attaches to? you can just fit one from a scrap switch, just done one meself, you can use a uk switch on a us one and vice versa with a bit of thought..Paul J
