What Black

#1 PostAuthor: wheelysteve » Tue Oct 13, 2015 7:01 pm

Could those in the know, please tell me what is the correct shade of black for the following Z1B parts, according to how they came out of the factory in 1975?

and I mean is it matt, satin or gloss before the comedians reply

Frame
Headlamp shell
Gauge housings
Yokes
Battery box/electrical panel/tool tray
Switchgear housing
Clutch lever bracket
Brake master cylinder
Brake calliper
Front wheel hub/brake disc centres
Seat base

Any recommendations of paint to use ?

Thank you muchly

What Black - same for '73 Z1?

#6 PostAuthor: RBY » Sun May 22, 2016 9:37 pm

Hi

Picked up this thread on black finish for Z1B. Would like to ask if this would be the same for a 1973 Z1?

Also what finish for the black tail light mounting bracket?

Many Thanks
