Well done Dave Friday is probably the best day for riding although Sat may be more time.
I think Sunday will be a bit hectic as there is one heck of a lot going on.

See you there.

Well what a weekend that was. Miserable weather on Friday, but that didn't stop us getting out and riding the bikes hard. Saturday was a fantastic day, weather was dry until 5 pm., so many litres of fuel used. Sunday was damp, but great fun, a few slides and watching a zx7r having a big moment but staying on, was entertaining. Exhausted now.

As above. Friday was good but very wet / cold / overcast / dark/ windy/ all the other stuff you get in October.
Bike developed a missfire which i never shook off. Finally died on Saturday afternoon and still have no clue and neither did any of the thousands of assembled mechanics.
Horizontal Phil (KWAKERZ1) was feeling sleepy so had a lay down for a 'power nap' at 130 mph at the end of the start finish straight. He's Ok i believe but bike looked like a council lawn mower! The tarmac faired worse than him and now has a sixty foot long permanent green scar in it. Brian cooked us lasagna, garlic bread and salad. Top bloke who let us use his luxury caravan to keep warm etc. I wont forget the effort you made or the hospitality you showed. Will see you again i hope.
The Jersey contingent traveled up and Phil in particular was 'on it' the whole weekend absolutely wringing the neck of the CBX which sounded utterly awesome in a world of utterly awesome sounding bikes.
Special mentions for;
Pluto who battled exhaustion, hipocracy, and the weather and sensibly retreated when the time was right. Well done Dave it was the right thing to do.
Nick A who drove off up to Cadwell to get another bike (Moriwaki Z1R) after traveling from Jersey to be let down initially by his new steed.
Trevor Nation simply for just being there. He took the Norton out on the Saturday but Sunday was just too wet.
Rob and Darin for everything they did for the event but particularly what they did for us, which included letting us horrible urchins have a group which was essentially just us and a few other novices. Not really any more than about thirteen or so on the track in any of our sessions. Garage space, free T-Shirts, pay per session tracktime, raising money for NABD, etc etc etc and plenty more besides.
Spoke to a zillion people,met some club members, talked some proper crap, compared scars and found out some interesting stuff about things i didnt know i was interested in.
The fact that i missed a little over half a day of track activity and got very confused about a load of stuff that was going on was just wallpaper in a weekend of memorable moments for me. Didnt win any awards and didnt fall of this time (neither of which i enjoyed at Cadwell) so yes a great weekend.
Lucky for us i guess but not so for others: when the endurance race did start, it was probably twenty minutes before the heavens opened and it shitted down which precipitated the demise of the top teams top rider and maybe others too.
Only took a few pics;
