FOR THE 72/73 CROWD - FUEL LEVEL GAUGE...

#1 PostAuthor: MaineKZ » Thu Aug 13, 2015 4:16 pm

Just been speaking to this guy Dave in the US - makes all kinds of nifty stuff for Zed carbs...

this listing on Ebay took me towards him:

I've been looking for one of these 'in situ' gauges for the early 72/73 VM28 carbs with the large float bowl plugs, but never found them for sale.

The one in the listing fits the smoothbores but not the 28s cus - you guessed it - they have a different threads apparently

Anyhow, he's happy to do a small run of gauges for the 28's at $25 a piece plus shipping.

I've ordered a set of 4 - to do the job in one hit - but if you'd like one or more for yourself, just message him thru the Ebay listing above and he'll increase the run.

He has gauges to fit the later Z1A/Z1B/Z900/z1000 etc in stock at very fair prices. See his other items.

I'm pretty sure a member was making and selling these items a short while ago.
