Last years ride was a pleasure, especially because it was so well controlled

Was thinking of coming down today, but weather for whole of south looks shite - loads of rain - don't mind riding in it, but really don't like pitching the tent in the rain, everything gets soaked :(

Setting out early tomorrow morning - hope to get there around 10ish in time for the ride out :D

Because today's weather is sooo shite, I have talked to Dawn and anyone who wants to kip in the Skittle Alley rather than a tent is most welcome. The ale will be flowing and the banter flying

I have been informed that our first ralliest is already onsite enjoying a breakfast - now that IS keen :beam

Bugger - wish I'd known about the skittle alley offer yesterday - might have still come down today. But now I've set expectations at home and have arranged to meet 2 other Zedheads early tomorrow morning.

CB and myself are here now, but brought the van  if anyone wants a bed for the night we have a vacant double bed at home and a spare dry seat in the van to get there.

Great turnout last night, with Steve having ridden from Aberdeen on his Zed!
The Yorkshire contingent out in force  At one point there were more vans than bikes  Though Hobbo reckoned his boots would have been drier if he'd ridden  Thanks to Keith for coming all the way down even though he is committed to family stuff today!

Thanks to all who came along to the rally this year. CB and myself hope you enjoyed it despite the grim weather Friday and Sunday. Sorry I rocked up a bit late on Sunday morning and missed some of your setting off home; the discovery of a rather lovely Islay Malt Dawn had been secreting left me more than a little rough in the morning :sta

I had meant to take more pix, but I did grab a few on Friday night.
