Eddie lawson rep head off to replace the spark plug insert and Gpz900 waiting to be looked at for a misfire. Great weekend and company, also weather behaved itself. Hopefully all back together for a Donnington track day at the end of the month.

Yes great weekend and company, thoroughly enjoyed it. Good to meet the locals, the guys from Jersey and other members and family too.
Was asked to appear for a photo shoot and award giving at 4.00 pm on Sunday to be honoured by Practical Sportsbike magazine for the nominated; 'Best 80's Bike' of the event category.
Binned the bike on the hairpin on the last lap of the last session and turned up for the assembled dignitaries, in the 'Van of Shame' with a trailer full of bent bike and a load of useless spare parts.
Never been so embarrassed in my life.
Apologies to those concerned.
The photos' for the magazine will have to be photoshopped and i did my best to cover the major damage with the engraved granite plaque that i received.
Couldn't raise a smile for the camera though for standing on one leg, the other feeling like it had come off!
Was also very pleasantly shocked to discover that; Rob and Darin (Z1OC members / owners of classic bike trackdays) helped to raise money for Steph (tyres for bikes) our faithful tyre services guy when he had a stroke recently.
I believe it was enough to pay his mortgage for six months while he could not work.
Proper decent blokes and no mistake. Respect to you both and those that contributed too.
Thanks for the generosity shown across the weekend and since.
Next one for me is the 'Endurance Legends' event in October at Snetterton so got a bit of work to do now.

Cheers

Rick, I do still have them but given the time elapsed since you asked before I assumed you weren't interested. They are now destined for this winters project. Katana time!
