Guyz any thoughts on this? out for ride This Sunday bike (modified zthou a2) was running really well and has been all Summer,suddenly went onto two pots 2&3 but carried on running enough to get me back home about 5 miles,wipped of the tank and found loose connection on one of the two 2,2 ohmn coils(dyna 2000) duly tightened and bike ran up and on all four but a fter a while when got hot started to emit white smoke defo not smoking b4,dont smell like oil burning,drained oil and found only 3 litres?checked oil b4 i went out and was defo between marks,though drained oil does seem thin and dirty,compression test shows 160-170 on all pots,no oil running down exhaust stems,no fuel in exhaust,poss intermittent firing on coil for 1 and 4? any input appreciated here.....Paul J

Condensation from when it was running on two.Or does it do it every time it gets hot.When my dizzy cap failed it run on three then two then cut out.A new cap was put on same problem white smoke seemed to clear after a bit

Hi Ade,you say condensation from when running on two can you explain this in more detail? bike now seems to be running on all four but starts with the white smoke when hot!!!

unless you drained the filter you would still have nearly 1/2 litre still in the engine ? dose it smell like oil? have you got excessive pressure in the crank cases ?

Cooling in the exhaust causing condensation.Mine only smoked for a minute then cleared.But i suppose the rest of your the exhaust was hot.I was also going to say about your crank case breather being blocked.If your compression is ok should rule out rings.I would stick some more oil in run it and if it ain`t` making any terrible noises just check the oil level when you go for a ride.Sorry i can`t be of more help just going on my experiances.

Hi Guys Filter is drained,no excess pressure in cases,smoke does not smell oily,runnings pods so recirc is vented to air via small filter,filler cap is modified to go to catch bottle.

Now sorted thanks to all who responded,flushed out oil and found exhaust had oil/fuel in...
