Guyz just found a new repair kit for the starter clutch on my old z1000j will this fit a z1000a2 or other models?

Paul, pretty sure this new kit will not fit earlier Z1 thru to Z900A4 not sure about Z1000 A1 & A2. They went to a larger diameter ground surface that the rollers run/ lock onto to drive the engine.

the clutch assembly's are all the same from a z1 through to the j series but the starter gear is different on the j series onwards. the zx1100/gpz a1/a2 has a different clutch & stater gear
