Lockheed master cyl headache

#1 PostAuthor: Big Fluff » Sun Jan 13, 2008 9:27 am

Well, the 2nd Lockheed master cyl repair kit came from Norvil and it's still bloody wrong... I give up with them now and have requested a refund.

Can anyone help me ? I need basically just the piston seal. The master cylinder (CP2410-10) is 0.7" bore, as fitted to all twin disc Rickmans, but it has the single 6mm (ish) groove in the piston. The piston is flat where the three little holes are at the furthest end.
I have had no luck whatsoever, trawling the internet and phoning just about everyone I can, most saying "can't help mate" ot "try the states".

Thanks, Will

I agree with wallop, get in touch with Hyde or alternatively post it to them and they will rebuild it for you.

Phil by AP Racing warwick do you mean Norman Hyde :??

From past experience AP Racing do not have direct contact with customers they channel it through their franchises.

Yee bloody ha.! At last, a company (AP Racing Warwick) who know what they're on about.... brilliant service from them, couldn't be more helpful if they tried..... but as usual it's thanks to you lot on the Z1OC for pointing me in the right direction... Nice one, thanks. :up :up
The S+S Saxon Turbo is now complete and ready for the show (and road soon hopefully).
Just have to sort out the MOT and registering the bugger....

See you all at Donnington (all day Sunday only for me)

AP Racing is Automotive products, who are Lockheed.
There premises are on the same estate as Norman Hyde.
