Poss,fuel problem

Hi,z1started to run like shit,seems like fuel starvation. So pulled both pipes off carbs turned tap on and fuel ran from 1 pipe, should it run from both fuel pipes same time, Wonder if tap sucking air in.

Whats the bike?is it a double feed tap or main and reserve?

1 main tap with reserve, 2 fuel pipes of it , it's a z1 a 900' standard

should run from both

one side feeds carbs 1&2 - the other 3&4
