hello gents iv'e got a problem with the clutch on my gpz1100a iv'e adjusted both the handle bar adjuster and the one on the frame downtube out to the limit and the clutch is still biting right at the end of its travel the clutch is not slipping but could the plates be worn out. i recently had the chain cover off to replace the chain and sprockets could i have put something back wrongly although it was biting at the end before i changed them.

to adjust the clutch screw the adjuster on the clutch lever out to about 10mm then screw the middle cable adjuster fully in. remove the clutch adjuster cover on the sprocket cover slacken the adjuster nut & turn the adjuster screw anti clockwise untill it starts to get tight then turn it back clockwise 1/2 a turn & tighten the lock nut then take up the slack in the cable by adjusting the middle cable adjuster untill you have 5mm-8mm free play in the clutch lever
