Z1000 ST unknown bolt holes

#1 PostAuthor: stevie g » Wed Apr 22, 2015 7:25 pm

Hi guys, Firstly I'm not very PC savvy so i cannot post pics of this problem. Anyhow I'll try to explain it. A mate of mine has a ST and he cannot figure out what 2 bolt holes are for. One is above and one is below the stub that sticks out for the spring at the back of the gear lever shaft. One thread is smaller than the other. The thread goes all the way through the casing. Can anyone tell me what they are for please, thanks Stevie.

Thanks adrian, I'll print that off and give it to him. Cheers Stevie. just having a closer look at that and it doesn't show what's supposed to go into these bolt holes I'm talking about As I said they are above and below that stub which is number 20 on that schematic. one looks like it would take a 10mm head bolt and other about a 12 mm head bolt.
