I would recomend a good tighten with a decent spanner
I never torqued any of them yet with no ill effect's
way too many Zeds

I'm sure someone said 5.5 ft/lbs instead of 12 ft/lbs but I'm not 100% certain.

8 lbs/ft if you are trying it with a big torque wrench don't bother just with a good ring spanner as Paulie says.

Internal threads are usually done with a fluteless tap.
