Resistance is between your ohm range

if it is the pick up coil there will be a big difference in the resistance readings between no 1&4 pick up coil & no 3 & 4. but it could also be the cdi

No only 7 ohms difference between 1&4 And 2&3 459 ohm. And 452 ohm

pick up coils are in spec so they should be good. next you need to test the cdi

no disrespect but have you eliminated other potential causeis? Such as timing, both ignition and valve, and compression. It strikes me that at least one coil, possibly both are generating a spark when you turn it over.

disconnect the pick up coils from the cdi & see if you still get a spark when you turn on the ignition

been at work double sunday & monday .have anther look today
yes there is a spark when i disconnect the pick up coils from the cdi . when i turn on the ignition

you need to check the resistances on the cdi now which i suspect is shot? what type of cdi has it got? metal with rib's or plastic held in place with a mounting rubber?

you need to check in the workshop manual its the same basic test as you have done on the pick up coils but there are more readings to take

had cdi off cleaned all connectors .cant not make any sence of reading i am getting . pluged it all back in now no spark at all .so i have bought the one from ebay and take from there i will let you know how i get on thank you for your help
