DOES ANYONE KNOW IF A PINGEL FUEL TAP CAN BE RESEALED ,MINES ALLOWING PETROL TO FLOW IN OFF POSITION

I am suffering from the same misfortune.

I looked on the Pingel web site and I see they only offer the tools to the trade to repair the taps.

Could I call upon your expertise to re-furb mine.
