z1100 st picture

#1 PostAuthor: freddyz1r » Sat Mar 07, 2015 11:42 pm

Hi all, I'm after a good quality picture or brochure for the Z1100 st A1, preferably in 'luminous navy blue'.
Any assistance you can give will be much appreciated.

thanks for the link kev.
I've been on here before and as you quite rightly say, it's good for specs etc.
the bike they show is obviously a German bike (side panel badge). However, it looks to me that it is 2 colours on the tank and side panel. The 'dark' blue looks like 'luminous navy blue' , but it seams to have a 'lighter' blue on the tank and side panel. It looks too even to be 'how the light hits'. I don't know if this was just on the German bikes?
I can only find 2 colours listed for the uk z1100st A1 ='luminous navy blue' and 'luminous passion red'. Mine started off life as 'luminous navy blue'. I would like to put it back to 'standard'. I have seen several good pics of the red and it's 1 straight colour and have been led to believe the blue was the same????? I don't want to commit to paint until I have good uk pics, showing the correct colour :??
Thanks for looking kev.

Freddy. I have a spare brochure for the A1 model. Very good nick except for two ring binder holes. All the bike pictures are of the blue model, yours for the price of P&P.

More info for you. From my collection of books etc.
A1 model:Luminous Navy Blue. Luminous Passion Red [No red in USA market]

A2 model: Luminous Passion Red, Luminous Midnight Red, Metallic Ultramarine Blue

A3 model: Luminous Midnight Red, Metallic Ultramarine Blue, Ebony.

However, I do not know if all these colours were available in all markets. I have a brochure for a US model A1, in Blue but with a red 'inlay' panel on the tank sides and side panels.

The Red and Blue on the A1 models are much darker than those on the A3 models
