Engine Removal
I am about to remove the engine from my Z1R to clean up, have followed the manual to remove all the bits ready, two bloke coming to help out, timber platform made same height as the frame to slide onto, trolly jack ready, do I need to remove the cam cover, looks very close for clearance, or even the sump? any tips would be usefull, cheers.

Lay the bike down on a car tire, remove engine mount bolts then lift frame up from the engine. Putting the engine in is revers of the above, easier to manipulate / move frame to avoid scratches than grunting with a bloody motor. ( usually have wheels, forks and swingarm removed too as per full rebuild.
