Cast wheels

Thanks for your answers guys, I guess that the wheels were not origional to that bike in 1977 but I don't mind them, it's some of the other bits that I want to get replaced, the master cylinder is first on the list, the one fitted has no mirror mount, I will swap the bits over as I find them, cheers
I think Kawasaki Centres started selling genuine wheels as an aftermarket fitment around late 78 or in 79 - the Z1-R came with them as standard obviously - so they were fitted to a lot of Z1000s around that time especially as the standard wheels could go rusty quite easily. Plus most people used to swap the fork legs over.

I dont have a lathe to make new ones but wondered if there was a standard spacer to suit available?
I have just fitted a set to my Z1000 A1 and the spacers are away at the moment being zinc plated. If when I get them back you are still looking for the dimensions I will give you a shout. I found it a bit of a ball ache to be honest. I did get a lot of help from guys on here which was a big help.

The front forks are the same for both front and rear mounted calipers, just swopped from left to right then turned around.
Not quite, the drain screw is in a different position.

If they were the proper Kawasaki ones for the A1/A2 they should have been a direct bolt in using the same spacers. But as has been mentioned already a lot of the wheels from then on for different models looked exactly the same but may have had detail differences.
