Has any one had good results with any quality Pattern items ??? I see Z1 Enterpises Inc are doing some TP brand (don't where there made ??? ) the pic indicates they have a 3 piece Oil Ring but are they any good or do they turn to rubber after 5000 miles ???? has any one tried em & had a positive outcome ....or whats your experiences & recommendations please ! JohnnyB, The 3 rings (oil ring) are as good as any.
You often have to watch they don't twist or slip out when lowering the barrels.
Also, for you to note, on some of the top rings they are unmarked (No little "N' stamping), if so they can go either way. If marked stamp go to the top!

Interesting you say that , when I got my last set from Jeff I bought a digital microscope for the PC and no matter what resolution I could not see any difference face to face nor when mated against a second ring, they butted-up square with no gap at all either way round. So I think your correct.
