Sorry to be pedantic - but is ALFA not Alpha, if you are searching Ebay you will have more success if you have the correct spelling.
I had one on my original Z650 and bought my current Z650 just because it had a scabby Alfa fitted as I figured I could bring it up to standard.
That one was screwed up by the chromers who polished the front pipes too thin, although I do have the rechromed rear section.
I just missed out on another Alfa on Ebay, then after 12 months of constant searching I turned up another one on the 'bay that truly looked as though it had been stored in a vacuum since the 80's
That one I was determined I was buying no matter how much it cost.
Needless to say I made it mine by giving the seller an offer he couldn't (well didn't) refuse and drove straight down the country to pick it up before the seller changed his mind
They were the best 4-1 in the day and they are the best of the retro pipes still. Do not believe the BS about Alfa's not performing or losing performance, my bike is jetted properly and it runs perfectly.
I loaned it out to a journo from Practical Sportsbike (that's one of their pictures up top) last summer and he was very surprised just how well it went. They are a tad noisy mind ............

Charlie,
I actually had it written as ALFA.
Then I noticed everyone else had ALPHA, so I changed it!!!!
