May have to buy one of these and have it fitted?

has anyone tried those? I wonder if they show the light through the numbers?

I was thinking of using the slides from repro decals. They claim the white is semi transparent and the black not, so when you sand the face down to the transparent green plastic, and put them on top, the light shines through the figures like the originals. If these are also like that it'd save a lot of sanding.

Why buy 72 clocks unless they are in pefect nick. If you have to restore them you may as well be less picky.

Ive had a few, theyre very good except the apertures are chamfered by hand, some are ok, some are naff, but none are as good as the originals.

The transfers referred to above are also very good. I fitted one to a h2 couple of years ago & it matched the original perfectly. It only tales a couple of mins to sand the old face off with some wet & dry.
