Z1R Exhaust collar alternative supply??????

#1 PostAuthor: steve rees » Tue Dec 11, 2007 7:35 pm

Hi Guys,

Some time back (no i can't locate the topic in the Forum search) there was an alternative part number given for the round collar that joins the collector box to the silencer on the Z1R.

was it for a Z305 or sumfin like that? maybe one of the custom type bikes????

Can anyone get me the part number for the alterntive part

The original part numnber is 11009-1035

Many thanks

Bedlow,

That's the sort of info we need in the club, Kawasaki say it's not available so some resourceful member (you) makes another part number up and presto

"yes Steve we can order that part it will be here tomorrow"

fantastic and thanks

Appearance is the way to go. Stop one more time for fuel.

Ive got both long / short range tanks. :P
I prefer the short range as it looks better  although it has a short range
The long range tank is more practical  but i hate the filler cap  spoils the lines of the tank, looks like a tree stump/after thought.
could do with a similar filler like the short range tank.

Thats another pipe dream

But aint it great to have a choice of tank

There are in fact 3 different tanks for the Z1-R, the ones in the first picture and the one with the raised fuel cap. All three are supposed to be different sizes.
