Took the old Girl out for a quick spin today.

Pictures if you've gone for a nice run out and Zed spotting.

Despite being very cold it was dry today so a quick 30 mile blat was on the cards. Nice to get out riding and recharge the old batteries ready for the winter. She is all tucked up safe and sound back in the garage waiting for the next sunny day.

Padders,

It looks really smart.
The colour / livery is just spot on.

I'm not so sure about the Smith and Wesson engine covers though.

Differant people differant tastes Jimmock makes the world a more interesting place. I love the cases always look back for a second glance as I walk away from the bike. Definitely marmite though the reaction is always love or hate.

Weather and countryside look nice, and a lovely Zed you've
built Ian. The engraved covers are unique, not many like
that about for sure eh! Good to break from the mould - has a creative quality
that's overlooked by most. I hope to see it at the Stafford
Show 2015. All the best

That Zed looks Fabbadabbodozy Ian.

Thats the pipe style Harris should have evolved to - just love the swoopy headers/down pipes
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Ian, that really does look nice mate !
You must be tougher up there in the frozen north: I took my Zed out yesterday, and after only 15 miles was frozen to the bike.
Cheers Tim

Cheers for the nice comments guys. It was cold Tim 30 miles was about my max just popped to Louth and back. Need to strip the forks over the winter having discovered when fitting the Z1B lowers that I had two differant types of damper rods and one is 30cm shorter than the other. Will sort when I finally fit a 6 bolt hub. Joys of buying older bikes 😀

Cheers Geoff when the seat landed I was a bit unsure as the bike had one fitted when I bought it but did not like the look of it with the original paint scheme. However as soon as I fitted the one I bought off you with the new paint scheme I realised it was the right choice. Bit hard on the buttocks though.

Lovely bike Ian, the 2:4 seat lines flow beautifully with the tank but they look much better without grab rail and std indicators.
